Kfm Radio live, which started its service in 2004 when it replaced CKR radio. The radio is owned by Co. Kildare FM Radio Ltd. Kfm serves as County Kildare's local radio station with a programme structure oriented toward the adult age group. Consequently, Kfm radio offers more talk-related programmes compared to primarily music-oriented radio stations. In its talk shows, the station primarily focuses on locally relevant topics, including news, current affairs, politics, and features top-notch live sports coverage. The station's playlist predominantly features easy-listening pop music from the last 40 years. However, it also airs chart hits, folk music, Irish and American country, as well as Irish traditional music in special music programmes. Kfm not only respects Irish culture by playing Irish music but also hosts a weekly bilingual programme called "Ceol Agus Caint" on Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm, hosted by Clem Ryan. On weekdays from 7am to 9am, the broadcaster brightens Kildare's mornings with its breakfast show, commanded by Ben Atkinson.
