Radio Kerry live, which was launched in 1990 as a commercial radio station operating from its studios in Tralee and Killarney. It has analogue availability throughout its home county and partly in County Cork, County Limerick, County Tipperary, and County Clare. The station is owned by Radio Kerry Holdings Ltd. and has received multiple awards, including the PPI Local Radio Station of the Year five times between 2005 and 2016. The radio's sports programme, "Terrace Talk", won the Gold award for Sports Programme of the Year in 2014 and the McNamee GAA Award for Best GAA Related Radio Programme in 2015. As the local radio station of the county, Radio Kerry focuses its talk programmes on locally relevant issues and current affairs while also covering national and international topics. The radio's playlist primarily features pop music but includes a diverse range of genres, such as Irish and American country, jazz, and traditional Irish music, in its specialist programmes. The schedule includes morning shows on six days of the week, with "Full Breakfast" airing on weekdays from 7am to 9am under the supervision of Andrew Morrissey and Elaine Kinsella. On Saturdays, "Weekend Wake Up" runs from 7am to 9am, ensuring that oversleeping is virtually impossible.
